Indonesia: Local tourism business strike ends following postponement of entrance fee rise in Komodo National Park

Tour Operators went on strike on August 1, 2022 to protest a sudden 25-fold rise in tourist entrance fees in the famous Komodo National Park. The government appears to have backed down, for the time being, postponing the rise to at least December 2022. Perhaps a gradual price hike could be introduced.
