Ecotourism is a strong interest of mine, both at the personal and professional level. My professional experience in the field of ecotourism ranges from academia (two tourism masters degrees and research assistant), the United Nations (World Tourism Organization), consulting, new economy, NGOs (National Geographic), media (Fodor’s and Rough Guides), and even the ground level (ecotour guide in Brazil).
