Hello Friends of Black Sheep Inn! If you've been keeping up with Facebook, then you know that we're excited about the new locale of the Chugchilan public Libray/Learning Center; first established by BSI in 2003. The new space is bigger and brighter and the amazing news is that internet has been installed!
We plan to open the library to the public at least 5 days a week and have been interviewing candidates for the position of librarian. We'll select three people to work on a rotating basis. The Library/Learning Center will offer FREE internet.
With the addition of internet to Chugchilan's Library/Learning Center we are incurring several expenses. USD$50 per month rent, USD$30 per month for the Internet connection, and the salary for three librarians which will initially come to approx USD$120 per month total. We anticipate appointing a head librarian and offering raises depending on the hours that librarians dedicate to the job. In any case we are looking for donations. We calculate Library/Learning Center expenses to run approx USD$250 per month.
Any donation, small or large would be greatly appreciated as we embark on this voyage to introduce Chugchilan to 21st century technology. Let us know if you can help!
